About me




I am a historian of women, gender and the family. My research focuses on Presbyterian families in Ulster and Ireland, between the eighteenth- and nineteenth-centuries. I am currently a Research Fellow at the University of Hertfordshire (2017-present). Prior to this, I was a Research Associate on the AHRC-Funded project 'Bad Bridget: Criminal and Deviant Irish Women in North America, 1838-1918'.
